Like every year, Isha Yoga Centre will celebrate Shivratri with great grandeur and splendour. A cultural event comprising music, dance and meditation is organised by Sadhguru, the centre’s founder. The event draws lakhs of people each year. Those not being able to attend the event can watch it live the whole night on television or through their webstream.

The centre is located at the base of the sacred Velliangiri Mountains near Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The celebration at Isha Yoga Centre is one of the largest celebrations throughout the country. This year the celebration begins on February 24 at 6 pm and continues the whole night. If you are looking for a multifaceted Shivratri celebration this is a place you need to head to.

Other performances include Nrityarutya –Bengaluru-based contemporary dance trust and Sounds of Isha –the centre’s home grown music band.

The celebration will be telecasted live in seven languages on 23 satellite television and several online platforms.
