There are many ways through which teachers motivate their students to participate in various activities. Aiming to motivate his students to exercise, a Chinese school principal learnt a particular form of dance and also shakes a leg with his students. The video of Principal Zhang Pengfei has gone viral on social media, with everyone appreciating him for his efforts.
The video is from Xi Guan Primary School in Linyi county, Shanxi province of China. In the video, Pengfei is wearing a black dress with a microphone in his hand. His students follow his steps as he performs steps of ‘Guibu’ or ghost dance steps. The exercise session involves bending, stretching, jumping and more so that students can improve their strength, flexibility and teamwork. “This is just a small activity at our school – I just wanted to offer a different way to exercise during the class break,” Pengfei told South China Morning Post.
