The University of Auckland's International Student Excellence and High Achievers Scholarships provide international students with strong academic potential the chance to study in New Zealand. This scholarship, which was established in 2016, aims to draw gifted students from all over the world to Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, to study undergraduate or graduate studies.

Scholarship brief:
Duration: One year
Amount: Up to $10,000 for educational expenses
Number Offered: Up to 50 scholarships annually.
Study: University of Auckland undergraduate degrees, postgraduate diplomas (PGDip), or master's programs
Scholarship benefits:
Up to $10,000 towards tuition fees for exceptional students.
Accessible to international students participating in a program of study for a minimum of one year, including undergraduate and graduate.

Eligibility criteria:
Be an international student (not a New Zealand or Australian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a resident visa).
You can be a new student with a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to an undergraduate or postgraduate program, an English Language Academy (ELA) student, or a Summer Start International program participant with an admission offer.
Enrol full-time in an undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, or master's programme at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
Have a Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00 for consideration.
Students who have already studied in New Zealand or are enrolled in specific business master's programs are ineligible for this grant.
