Gujarat Lions’ assistant coach and right-hand batsman Mohammad Kaif and his wife Pooja were blessed with a baby girl. In a tweet shared some 23 hours before writing this, the cricketer announced the birth of his adorable baby daughter. “We are proud to announce the arrival of the newest member to our family. Pooja and I have been blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby girl,” he posted on Twitter. As congratulatory messages poured in for the cricketer, Kaif followed up his tweet by sharing a heart-warming picture of his tiny bundle of joy.
Today Kaif took to Twitter and tweeted, “What a feeling ! Holding my little bundle of joy .Thank you everyone for your wonderful wishes and prayers 🙏🏻”. The picture has collected over 1,600 ‘likes and more than 250 retweets within an hour of being posted.
The 36-year-old Mohammad Kaif married Noida based journalist Pooja Yadav in 2011. The couple also has a five-year-old son, named Kabir who was born in 2012. Gujarat Lions assistant coach was congratulated by batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Anil Kumble among others.Kaif who is renowned in world cricket as one of the finest fielders will now be actively working with Gujarat Lions team in VIVO IPL 2017 as their assistant coach.
