Amid the first spell of the monsoons on Wednesday, the city observed waterlogging at several spots, leading to traffic congestion and diversion. The waterlogging badly hit the vehicular movement, continuing till afternoon, on the Western Express Highway (WEH) and Eastern Express Highway (EEH), as congestion went up to 40-45 minutes. Moreover, traffic police also shut four subways in suburbs-- Milan, Khar, Andheri and Malad due to waterlogging, largely making diversions or taking a longer route to reach their destination.
