Mantralaya bomb threat: No suspicious object found, says Mumbai Police PRO

A search operation was conducted at the premises of Mantralaya building after receiving a threat call from an anonymous number. However, no suspicious object or bomb has been found said Mumbai Police Public Relation Officer.

An anonymous threat call was dialled to the Disaster Management Control department of the Mantralaya. The caller informed that a bomb has been planted in the building. Police security at the ministry had been beefed up following the phone call. An investigation into the alleged bomb was underway.

Following the call, police personnel along with Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad teams were also rushed to the spot to conduct searches in the premises of the buidling.
