Over the recent weeks, Raj Thackeray has made many vocal attacks on BJP and PM Narendra Modi. BJP, which did not respond back to MNS chief till now, is gearing up to attack Thackeray. Apparently, BJP is soon going hit back at Thackeray by raking up the Ramesh Kini murder case and Dadar’s Kohinoor Mills deal.
Following Thackeray’s recent allegation against BJP and PM Narendra Modi, BJP is also said to be planning to release a video about Thackeray’s past. “Ramesh Kini case could be one of the issues which will be raised during this presentation on Raj Thackeray. There are many issues like buying of Kohinoor Mill in partnership with Manohar Joshi without any source of income. The discussion is on in the party about which issues to include in the presentation,” a senior BJP leader told Mumbai Mirror.
Thackeray was an accused in murder case of Ramesh Kini but was later acquitted. Kini was a Dadar resident, who was killed in 1996. He reportedly disagreed to vacate his house, which his landlord was forcing him to do. The landlord was a close aide of Thackeray and Kini was found dead in a theatre, a few days after he went missing. Thackeray, however, was acquitted in the case.
The same report said BJP is also going to attack the MNS chief for purchase of Dadar’s Kohinoor Mills with partnership of former Maharashtra CM Manohar Joshi. Thackeray purportedly sold his stake in the mill land. Over the recent few weeks, Thackeray had attacked BJP during his rallies, interviews and speeches. Thackeray highlighted issues on which the BJP govt failed with facts, figures, newspaper articles, news clips, etc.
