Mhow News Row: Four arrested for robbing duo of Rs 60,000, 2 bikes seized

A police informer handed over a purse to the team and the police were able to identify one of the accused Shankar son of Rajesh Bhil a resident of Bhanwargarh, Betma district through his driving licence and Aadhar card found in the purse.

Pithampur (Mhow, Madhya Pradesh): Sagore police have arrested four persons involved in a case of loot of Rs 60,000. Two motorcycles have also been confiscated from the accused.

Ajay son of Jagdish Bhil, a resident of Khandwa and his co-worker Sawan son of Hari Singh Patel who both work at Union Bank of India customer service centre in village Asukheli were returning home when three unknown persons on a motorcycle came from behind and hit Sawan with a stick in front of Natrax gate in Pithampur. As a result, they lost balance and fell from the motorocycle. The miscreants took their black-coloured bag and fled the spot. The bag had Rs 60,000/- cash and some documents.

After the victim lodged a complaint, the City Superintendent of Police Pithampur Tarunendra Singh Baghel formed a team of police station-in-charge Sagore Rajendra Singh Bhadauria and others to look into the case. A police informer handed over a purse to the team and the police were able to identify one of the accused Shankar son of Rajesh Bhil a resident of Bhanwargarh, Betma district through his driving licence and Aadhar card found in the purse. Another suspect Prakash alias Kalu was also caught and interrogated. The other two accused Awadhesh son of Mohan Bhil and Ram alias Golu son of Jadu Singh Solanki were also arrested. They have confessed to have been involved in other cases of theft too. Motorcycle CBZ number MP-09-NG-8003 and motorcycle MP-09-VW-3471 were confiscated. from the accused

Mall Road has gone dark in the absence of street lights

Mhow: Mall Road an important road in the cantonment area envolped in darkness every night for the past week as the street lights on this road have not been functioning for the last one week. A large number of important establishments and residences of Army officers are located on this road. The absence of street lights could lead to an accident as it is a busy road. Morning walkers too face difficulty due to the absence of lighting establishments along with the residence of the army officer. Due to not being there, the street light gets spoiled every day.
