Mhow (Indore district, Madhya Pradesh): With constant decline of corona cases, the administration has eased several restrictions.
To boost tourism sector in Mhow tehsil, the administration has decided to restart heritage train here for seeing Patalpani, Choral and Kalakund. After outbreak of coronavirus, the Western Railway had stopped heritage train.
The heritage train will run with vistadome coaches. The basic amenities in the train will include wide window panes and glass rooftop. Western Railway Ratlam Division has written a letter to Indore district administration asking to restart the heritage train.
After administration’s nod, Western Railway will take approval from zonal office in Mumbai for the same. Vineet Kumar Gupta, Ratlam railway divisional manager said, “A letter has been written by Western Railway to Indore district administration to run heritage train. After getting permission from district administration, Western Railway will write to its zonal office Mumbai. Western Railway will start heritage train after getting permission.”
