Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): A girl from Rewa was nabbed at Attari Border allegedly trying to cross the border with a fake passport and visa.
The matter came to light when the family of the girl got a call on Facebook messenger from a boy named Dilshad Khan of Pakistan.
The 23-year-old girl Fiza Khan hails from the Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. She is a teacher in a convent school located in Ghoghar.
Fiza's father told the police that on June 14, she went missing. She was constantly getting calls from a Pakistani number. In the evening when Fiza went missing, he received a call on Facebook Messenger from a boy. They smelled something fishy and immediately reached the City Kotwali police station and lodged a missing complaint about the girl.
According to SP Navneet Bhasin, Fiza Khan befriended a boy on Facebook and no sooner fell in love. She got made a fake passport from Bhopal and planned to go to Pakistan to meet him. She got her passport made three months back in March and the passport was issued to him from Bhopal. Fiza ran away from home on June 14 and a 90-day visa for Karachi was issued on June 22 itself.
The Customs Department and BSF officials caught the girl at the Attari border and handed her over to the police. Rewa police have reached Amritsar to take the girl back.
