Mahidpur: To fight the third wave of Covid-19, preps have been started in the government hospital. Believing that the infection in the upcoming wave will affect the children more, a 12-bed children's ward is being prepared in a hall of the government hospital. On the walls of this ward, paintings have been made to attract the children.

The selection of printing on the bed sheets is being done to keep the children positive and forget the disease and get engrossed in the environment of the toys.

Giving information, Dr Nitin Acharya, in-charge of the government hospital said that along with the children's ward, a 10-bed female ward and a 12-bed male ward are being prepared, for which oxygen will be arranged on each bed. The detailed information of the medicines of the hospital has also been kept in the registers.

Seeing the cleanliness and arrangements of the hospital, about 200 to 250 patients of other diseases have started reaching the hospital every day.
