Nagda: The construction of a road connecting Ujjain-Jaora State Highway directly from Padalya has become a prey to politics and after the commencement of the work, the road construction work in the area has stopped after the former municipal president took objection to the construction. The said road was being built by the Municipal Council at a cost of crores of rupees.

Residents of the area say that even if a road is constructed anywhere in the Gaushala or Arya Garden, that will also do but they need a road directly connected to the bypass. Citizens believe that this will provide a lot of convenience in development and transportation in the Padalya area. It is worth mentioning that the new route will prove to be a milestone for the development and business activities of Padalya and employment opportunities for the residents of this place can also be opened due to the construction of the road.

At present, a road and a culvert is being constructed by municipal council to connect State Highway-17 with Arya Garden at a cost of about Rs 1.5 crores. At the same time, the residents of the area are also demanding that a road should be constructed from the Gaushala to the State Highway, due to which the development of the Gaushala will also be rapid. Similarly, a road can also be constructed from the front of the public toilet located near the Padalya Road intersection due to which there will be all-round development of the area and the residential colonies will also get the benefit of these routes.
