Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A manager at Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM Indore), Naveen Krishna Rai is putting efforts in materialising collaborations of various institutions of state government with IIM Indore for the development of the state.
Naveen has been instrumental in initiating beat policing projects, training of female kin of police personnel on financial literacy in Indore, organising training programs of the government school principals from the schools selected under CM Rise initiative.
CM Rise initiative is a flagship program of Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan to ensure the delivery of quality education in the state.
The young manager also plays an important role in successfully materialising the collaborations of IIM Indore with MP Police, Indore Municipal Corporations, Panchayati Raj & Rural Development Department, Urban Development & Housing Department, School education Department and MP Industrial Development Corporation.
Besides, IIM Indore director appreciated him for his outstanding performance to the institute and got recognised as distinguished alumni of his alma mater, MMM University of Technology, Gorakhpur. He has been the ‘Brand Ambassador’ for development of Navgarh tehsil, Chandauli district, Uttar Pradesh in 2017.
Naveen started his journey from a small hamlet in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. He spent his childhood in deprivation due to his father's untimely demise, who died three months before his birth. But, his intense desire to learn and experience new things made him go places, preventing him from being grabbed by fears and insecurities of the future.
He had the first-hand experience of working with elected politicians and top bureaucrats. After working with bureaucrats and politicians, he joined IIM Indore in 2019.
