Indore: Man held for land fraud

According to the police, one Sourabh Sharma had lodged a complaint against Sameer alias Chikna of Chandan Nagar, Rajkumar Kuril and Mohammad Iliyas.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police arrested a person in connection with a land fraud in the Chandan Nagar area on Saturday. The accused was on the run after duping a person on the pretext of selling a plot in a colony.

According to the police, one Sourabh Sharma had lodged a complaint against Sameer alias Chikna of Chandan Nagar, Rajkumar Kuril and Mohammad Iliyas. After receiving a complaint, the police managed to arrest accused Sameer while a search was on for his accomplices.

Police said that accused Sameer and Rajkumar used to sell the same plot to many people using forged documents. They were earlier booked for land fraud also.

Man detained for objectionable post on social media

A man was detained by the police for sharing objectionable content on social media on Saturday. The police found some objectionable messages on his social media account.

According to the Khajrana police station staff, information was received that a person had posted some objectionable messages to provoke people of a particular religion. The police investigated the matter and detained the accused. He was booked under section 188 of the IPC for sharing objectionable content on social media.
