Uorfi Javed took to her Instagram handle to reveal that she was once in a relationship with a man who used to "gaslight" her. The reality TV personality claimed that her then-boyfriend had a female roommate and once told Uorfi that the woman believed in the "free-nipple" movement. Sharing the shocking yet hilarious anecdote, Uorfi uploaded the video with the caption, "Ye kahani Mai apne bachho ko sunaungi!"
Uorfi said in the video, "Mera ek boyfriend hua karta tha jo Canada shift ho gaya tha. Wo mujhe itna gaslight karta tha ki koi limit hi nahi hai." She then recalled an incident when he video-called her and told her not to be shocked if she saw his roommate walking around in the background without clothes.
Explaining the conversation, Uorfi said, "Wo ek baar bolta hai mujhse video call mein Canada mein ki 'Listen meri jo roommate hai na wo 'free the nipple movement' mein believe karti hai. So agar wo tumhe kabhi peeche aise video call mein bina kapdon ke dikhe to don't mind her. Ye culture hi hai yaha ka."
Uorfi claimed that she was left speechless for nearly two minutes after her then-boyfriend said this to her. The social media influencer added, "Canada Jaisi jagah mein jaha pe itni thand ho rahi hai uske andar kya garmi machegi." She said she refused to accept what her then-boyfriend was saying and told him that she should never have to witness such a situation. Calling it unacceptable, she stood her ground.
Recalling her response, Uorfi further claimed that she told her then-boyfriend she should never have to see an unclothed woman in the background during their video calls. What happened next left her shocked. According to Uorfi, her then-boyfriend replied, "What you Indian girls? Tum itni narrow minded hoti ho." Taking a hilarious dig at him, she pointed out that he himself had moved to Canada only six months earlier.
Uorfi further claimed that her boyfriend continued to "gaslight" her by saying that her thinking was narrow-minded. He even told her that because of such thinking, NRI men do not marry Indian women.
