Shezad embarked on his illustrious career in the 1990s, leaving an indelible mark in the music industry with chart-toppers such as "Kangna," "Saali," and "Teri Soorat," among others. His remarkable contributions earned him accolades from the Government of Pakistan, including the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) in 2005, the Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) in 2006, and the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence) in 2018. Furthermore, Roy had the honor of being selected as a torchbearer for the 2008 Olympic Games.
Shehzad's song, "Bullsh*t," featured in Akshay Kumar's film Khatta Meetha. This song ingeniously combines two of Roy's most iconic tracks from his 2008 album, "Qismat Apney Haat Mein," namely "Laga Reh" and "Qismat Apney Haat Mein," adding a fresh perspective to his timeless tunes.
