Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, who made a drool-worthy comeback with films like Race 3, Love Hostel, and the upcoming project Animal, fell prey to incessant trolling on social media after a video of him being “rude” to a stuntman went viral. As per a clip shared on Reddit, Bobby, who was filming for a commercial, shot an action sequence with stuntmen. However, after they fell to the ground, and the director said “cut”, Bobby simply walked off. Netizens were upset that the actor didn’t offer a helping hand.
One user wrote, “Bollywood in general is very insensitive and dark as you will get to see it close. Low expectations will help you survive it.”
“That was a really great flip by the stunt guy without any cables. He needs to be appreciated more. A lot of these Bollywood guys are obnoxious and rude so it's not surprising that Bobby didn't even look at him,” added another.
One Reddit user commented, “I mean Bobby and Sunny are known to look down on people so the lack of empathy here isn’t something I’m surprised by. It would be polite to check if the stuntman is okay but bolly people (especially Nepos) don’t have a lot of sympathy.”
Bobby Deol made his acting debut in the film Barsaat in 1995, but he gained recognition for his roles in movies like Gupt, Soldier, and Bichhoo. Bobby will next be seen as the antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Deol's fierce personality can be caught in the film's teaser making him a formidable adversary for the film's protagonist. Animal is all set to hit the theatres on December 1.
