As we all know that filmmaker Sajid Khan and actor Nana Patekar have been sacked from Housefull 4 due to sexual harassment allegations on them under #MeToo movement. The franchise’s earlier instalment was directed by filmmaker duo Sajid Samji-Farhad Samji but for now, Farhad solely has been chosen to don director’s hat for the film. When SpotboyE contacted Sajid Samji, he said, “I don’t regret it though, since my younger brother Farhad is out there.”
While speaking about last year’s creative difference with Farhad, Sajid elaborated, “There were many reasons. Farhad is still very dear to me. He was writing the film’s dialogues anyway, so I think it was fitting to take him as the director.” Hopefully, Farhad would match the standards of Housefull franchise.
For those who are uninitiated, Nana Patekar has been accused of sexual harassment during the shooting of the song of Horn Ok Pleassss (2008) by Tanushree Dutta. After her allegations, #MeToo movement sparkled in India in which Sajid Khan also got accused of sexual harassment by 3 women.
