Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding took place yesterday where as expected the who’s who of Bollywood came to bless the couple. While almost everyone was looking at their best, we simply couldn’t keep our eyes off from the newly wedded Deepika Padukone.
Apart from the fact that the actress was looking stunning, what caught our attention is that Deepika wore the same Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ivory and gold saree from her own reception for Isha Ambani’s wedding.
While many will think that Deepika recycled her look, here is what might actually fill in the blanks. It is observed in Konkani traditions that a newly wedded bride wears her reception saree for another wedding post her own marriage. In this case, Isha’s big day was the time for Deepika to follow the norm.
