As anticipation builds for Malhar 2026, scheduled to take place on 13th, 14th, and 15th August, St. Xavier’s College hosted Spider-Man: Brand New Bash as a pre-event in an official partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment India. The celebration also built excitement ahead of the theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on 30th July.
The event was exclusively held for Xavierites, the campus was turned into a Spider-Man-themed experience with interactive activities, fan experiences, and live entertainment. The crowd got into the spirit too, with many students turning up in red and blue and quite a few sporting Spider-Man masks, adding to the fun, larger than life vibe of the evening. The evening also featured a special performance by Rudraaksh, followed by an energetic DJ set that kept the celebrations going.
Students participated in Spider-Man trivia questions, Spider-Man themed games, a Spider-Man photobooth, exclusive merchandise stalls, music and dance performances, which created a celebrative feeling among Spider-Man fans.
Spider-Man: Brand New Bash, as a pre-event showcased the festival’s commitment in creating memorable experiences through large-scale collaborations with leading entertainment brands. The event was successful in building excitement for both the upcoming Spider-Man film and Malhar 2026, setting the stage for one of Mumbai’s most anticipated intercollegiate cultural festivals.
