Fashion designer Seema Sajdeh recently opened up about how she dealt with the separation with actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan.

In May 2022, Seema and Sohail filed for divorce. However, they did not release an official statement about their separation.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Seema said having a 'tough exterior' in the face of turmoil has helped her lead a life of positivity.

"If I were to wallow and it’s a deep dark hole that you can quickly spiral into. So I choose to be on the other side. For me, this is what keeps me going. So even for the kids, for the family members, my brother or my sister. It’s not nice to see your sister wallowing or your daughter… Then you’re constantly stressed about that person," she said.

She further said, "So it’s for them to see that I am looking at my life completely from a positive angle. I’ve let go of any negativity I might have. I think I have reached a point where I don’t care anymore. As long as these people know who I am, this is my family, my parents and my kids and my siblings."

Seema is a fashion designer by profession and owns a label under her name in Bandra. She married Sohail in 1998.

Seema hails from Delhi and she had come to Mumbai to pursue a career in fashion designing. Sohail had earlier said that he fell in love with Seema at first sight. Soon both of them started dating each other, however, Seema’s family was not ready for their wedding.

That is why Seema and Sohail took a big decision and the day Sohail’s film ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ (1998) was released, the two ran away from home and had got married at the Arya Samaj temple.

Seema and Sohail have two sons Nirvaan and Yohan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Seema is gearing up for the second season of her Netflix series 'Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives'. The show also features Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari and Maheep Kapoor.
