Actress Shilpa Shetty's husband, businessman Raj Kundra, has finally revealed the reason behind why he has been hiding his face with masks for the past few months.
On Tuesday, Kundra conducted an #AskRaj session on his Twitter handle, wherein he promised to answer the questions of his followers "as truthfully and bluntly as possible".
While most of the questions directed towards him were those related to Shilpa Shetty, a handful of netizens also questioned Kundra about the new masks that he has been using to cover his entire face whenever he steps out.
When a Twitter user asked Kundra about when will he take his masks off, he replied, "I don’t wear my mask for friends and fans. I wear it for media, that’s all they will get of me from now!"
To another netizen who had the same query, Kundra responded, "I am Not wearing it for public just don’t wish to give media a chance to click my face! I am hurt by the media trial they put me through! Media is not above the law!"
He also joked that his mask collection has now gotten out of hands and that his cupboard is overflowing with them.
Interestingly, a user also asked Kundra about his arrest in the pornographic content case, to which he staunchly replied, "This will come out soon! #corruption #vendetta #rivalry many things #AskRaj one thing I can assure my well wishers is I have never participated in or produced anything PORNOGRAPHIC in my life."
When a user asked the businessman if he was staging his marriage with Shilpa, he stated, "Haha love this question. Love is no act and cannot be staged. 13th year anniversary on 22nd November don’t forget to wish us :)"
For the unawares, Kundra was arrested in July 2021 for allegedly producing pornographic videos and was granted bail in September. He was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act and the Information Technology Act.
Ever since his release, he had been hiding his face from the media, while Shilpa has refrained to comment on the case.
