Uri actor Mohit Raina quashes divorce rumours with wife Aditi Sharma: 'Celebrating my first anniversary'

Hours after reports went viral that Mohit Raina and wife Aditi Sharma were headed for a divorce, the 'Uri' actor clarified that the rumours are baseless.

Mohit had taken his fans by surprise when he announced his wedding with Aditi Sharma on January 1 this year. However, several media reports claimed that the couple is going through a difficult phase in their relationship.

Mohit has now finally reacted to the reports and stated that he has no clue from where the rumours sparked off.

He told Indian Express that he is happily married that he is celebrating his first wedding anniversary in Himachal Pradesh.

It all started after Mohit deleted all his wedding photos with Aditi from his social media handles and has even taken down his other loved-up pictures with his wife.

The only photo of Mohit and Aditi which remains on the actor's gram is that from June.

Mohit's move did not go unnoticed by his fans who commented on his recent posts, inquiring about why has he deleted the photos.

Not just that, but Mohit and Aditi have also unfollowed each other on Instagram.

In an interview post marriage, Mohit had revealed that it was an unplanned wedding and that it was a "short notice decision".

The wedding was a 'close-knit family affair' and took place in Rajasthan in December 2021.

Aditi is not from showbiz and hails from a tech background.

Mohit had mentioned that the base of their relationship is friendship.

Mohit and Aditi met a few years back and after being friends for some years, they mutually decided to take it ahead. It was during the pandemic (second wave), that Mohit met Aditi's family to ask for her hand and take things ahead.

On the work front, Mohit became a household name after playing Lord Shiva in the television series 'Devon Ke Dev Mahadev'.

He has also starred in several Bollywood films including 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and 'Shiddat', and in web series like 'Kaafir', 'Bhaukaal', and 'Mumbai Diaries 26/11'.
