Renowned playback singer Adnan Sami took the internet by storm earlier this year when he shared photos post his epic weight loss transformation and looked almost unrecognisable in his vacation pictures.
The singer has now opened up on his weight loss journey and revealed how doctors had given him an ultimatum when he weighed 230 kg.
"The doctor told me the way you are leading your life, I wouldn’t be surprised if your parents find you dead in a hotel room in six months," Sami told Mashable India.
Emotional conversation with father
He added that his father listened to the entire conversation and later had an emotional request for his son. "My father said, 'I just have one request, you have to bury me. I cannot bury you, no father should bury his child'," Sami recalled.
Sami stated that it was that very moment that he promised his father he would lose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle.
People thought I got surgeries done: Adnan Sami
Sami mentioned that a lot of people still believe that he lost 130 kg weight by doing surgeries and liposuction.
"None of it was done by any kind of surgical interference. I went to Texas and got myself a fantastic nutritionist. She then completely changed my lifestyle and told me I will have to stick to this lifestyle throughout my life," he said.
