Bhopal: Voters hassled as model polling booth established in the midst of garbage vehicles in Raisen

It has been a centre of attraction among the voters as they barely visit the area on their normal days but they were forced to go there to cast their votes.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A model polling station was established at a garbage vehicle parking area in Mandideep Municipal Council. The polling station was made at the community hall for ward no. 8 of the municipal council.

It has been a centre of attraction among the voters as they barely visit the area on their normal days but they were forced to go there to cast their votes.

According to reports, the voters were found to be uncomfortable as there were garbage vehicles parked outside the polling station. Besides, there were various mismanagement at the polling centre.

Voters at the polling station said that this polling station should not be made a model polling station. They were feeling uneasy due to filth at the polling station and it was smelling as well. Due to the rains, the dirt was scattered all around. Drinking water was also kept ill mannered. There were no tables for the drinking water inside the polling station, only one water camper was kept on the ground outside it.

Nevertheless, the polling station was only decorated with balloons from outside in order to look attractive but it was a mess from inside. The walls of the community hall were also full of moisture.

On the other hand, many people faced trouble as they did not get voting slips and the polling agents were also angry as they did find a place to sit.
