Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Ram Pravesh Das, Mahant of 12-Ghat Vrindavan, will be the new Mahant of Gufa Mandir, Bhopal. Chandrama Das Tyagi died due to Covid during the second wave, so, this post of Mahant fell vacant.
Similarly, Vijay Das Tyagi, disciple of Chandrama Das Tyagi, will be ‘Adhikari’ (officer) of the temple. Ram Pravesh Das will be handed over charge of Gufa Mandir at a ceremony on Monday. The heads of all temples will be present on this occasion.
Besides, Lok Sabha MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, former mayor Alok Sharma, Bagwan Das Sabnani and Kailash Mishra are likely to be present. The eremony will be held following all corona protocols.
