BHOPAL: The Sheopur police have seized the poppy husk worth Rs 1.10 crore and had arrested two accuses of the case. The SP Sheopur Nagendra Singh informed that the police got the tipoff that in village Madanpur under Bargaon police station some people are involved in poppy husk cultivation.
On raiding the spot, the police found 1739 kilogram of poppy husk worth rupees one crore and ten lakhs crop near a nullah. The accused Shekdia Bhilala and Mitthu Marwadi were arrested from the spot.
