Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The universities will have to mention the proposed date of examinations and results of all the courses conducted by them in the academic calendar. This information should be displayed clearly on the University's website.
Principal Secretary to Governor DP Ahuja has directed the registrars of government universities in this regard in the monthly meeting of registrars at Raj Bhawan on Tuesday.
Principal Secretary Ahuja said that the target group of university students should be compulsorily tested for Sickle Cell Anemia disease within 45 days. This work should be done in coordination with the government hospitals. It must be ensured that 100% target group students get tested in the camps.
On being informed about the adoption of villages, the Principal Secretary instructed that the selected 5 villages should necessarily be from tribal dominated development blocks. There shouldn't be overlapping between universities in the selection of villages, he said.
Ahuja was briefed about court cases, audit objections, construction works, placements and specific achievements of the university. The official was informed that the examination results of the courses started under the National Education Policy would be declared by the second fortnight of September.
Prior to this results of all other courses will also be released. After the declaration of these results by the Distance Education University, information was given about conducting the examinations.
