Video: Team India Star Kuldeep Yadav Rightly Predicts Spain’s 2-1 Win Over England In Euro 2024 Final

Team India spinner Kuldeep Yadav accurately predicted the final scoreline for the Euro 2024 Final between Spain and England on Monday, July 15. Kuldeep was in attendance to witness the Euro 2024 title clash at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Spain clinched the record 4th Euro title with 2-1 win over England with goals from Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal in the 47th and 86th minutes, respectively. It was Spain's Euro triumph since 2012, where they defeated Italy in Ukraine's captain Kyiv.

However, Kuldeep Yadav was spot on with his prediction for the Euro 2024 Final between Spain and England. Speaking on Sony Sports Network ahead of the title clash, the left-arm spinner was initially hesitant to choose the winner but eventually predicted that Spain would win 2-1.

"Both teams are playing really well at the moment. Spain has been really well throughout this tournament. If they play like that, the way they played all the games, I'm sure they can easily pass through England." Kuldeep said.

"But, the final is always tough (to predict), but I am supporting Spain and I think they will go past England and win 2-1." he added,

Kuldeep Yadav is a supporter of Football Club of Barcelona or FC Barcelona and a big fan of Neymar Jr, who played for Culers from 2013 to 2017. In the 2023 ODI World Cup semifinal against New Zealand, Yadav met England football legend David Beckham at the Wankhede Stadium.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav played a pivotal role in helping India clinch the T20 World Cup 2024 triumph. In the tournament, the 29-year-old picked 10 wickets at an average of 13.90 and an economy rate of 6.95 in 5 matches. His performance came against Bangladesh, where he registered figures 3/19 with an economy rate of 4.75 in four overs.

Kuldeep Yadav is likely to be picked for Sri Lanka white-ball tour

Kuldeep Yadav is one of the few players from T20 World Cup-winning squad who were rested for the recently T20I series against Zimbabwe, which India led Shubman Gill won 4-1. India lost the opening match of the series but bounce back to win the four matches to clinch the series.

Thereafter, the Men in Blue will travel to Sri Lanka for three T20Is and as many ODIs, starting on July 27. Kuldeep Yadav is likely to return to action for the Sri Lanka white-ball tour. He is expected to be picked in T20I and ODI squad.

After Sri Lanka white-ball tour, Team India will play three-match Test series against Bangladesh in September.
