2:02 am: Hokato Hotozhe Sema wins bronze in Men's Shot Put. Bhavanaben Ajabaji Chaudhary was in the frame for bronze in women's javelin throw, but finished 5th eventually.

9:30 pm: Kasthuri Rajamani misses out on medal, finishes 8th in Women's 67kg powerlifting category.

4:48 pm: Praveen Kumar wins gold in Men's High Jump T64 Event.

4:00 pm: Dipesh Kumar finishes 7th in men's javelin throw F54 to eventually miss out on a medal.

3:04 PM: Dilip Gavit enters final of Men's 400m - T47 after third place finish with timing of 49.54.

2:16 PM: Simran Sharma blazes past her opponents in her 200m Heat with a time of 25.41 to seal her spot in the semifinals which will be held at 11:12 pm tonight

2:14 PM: Prachi Yadav finishes fourth in her heat and is through to the semi-final of Canoe, women's Va'a single 200m - VL2

2:00 PM: Yash Kumar finishes sixth in his heat and is through to the semi-final of Canoe, men's kayak single 200m - KL1

12:22 PM: India's first event of the day starts at 1:30pm, with Yash Kumar competing in Canoe, men's kayak single 200m - KL1 heats

Having already won 25 medals in this years edition of the Paralympics, the number is likely to go up with as many as six medals on the offer.

The canoeists are in action today, as is Simran who finished fourth in the women’s 100m T12 – today she competes in Round 1 of the women’s 200m T12 event. Praveen Kumar will compete in the Men’s High Jump T64 final.

There is action in powerlifting and a host of events in athletics to come today.
