A 26-year-old man has tragically taken his own life by jumping from the 21st floor of a building in Sewri. The deceased, identified as Abhinav Anil Kumar Sapare (26), lived with his two friends in a residence on the 21st floor of Sky Flama A Wing, Dosti Flamingo on TG Road, Sewri. The Rafi Ahmed Kidwai (RAK) Marg police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are actively investigating the case.
Details of tragedy
According to information provided by the RAK Marg Police, they received a distressing call on Saturday morning reporting an incident at 6.30 am. Upon reaching the location, it was discovered that Sapare had jumped from the 21st floor window of room number 2101. He was swiftly taken to KEM Hospital in Parel for treatment, but doctors pronounced him brought dead at 8.40 am.

Sapare, originally from Bengaluru, worked in a private company and lived on rent with his two friends in the building. The police have informed Sapare's parents in Bangluru about the tragic incident, and they are on their way to Mumbai.
The police conducted the necessary procedures at the incident site, including the Panchnama and Inquest Panchnama. Statements from Sapare's room partner have been recorded as part of the investigation.
Severity of the fall
The grim details provided by the police officer reveal the severity of the incident. After the fall, Sapare's head suffered severe trauma, and his brain was exposed. Additionally, both his legs were broken below the knee.
The RAK Marg police have initiated an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are actively investigating the case. The police officer stated that they are probing the matter to determine the reasons behind Sapare's tragic decision.
