Maharashtra Elections 2024: Ajit Pawar Releases NCP's Manifesto, Repeats Mahayuti's 10 Guarantees Announced By CM Shinde In Mahayuti Rally
The NCP led by Ajit Pawar on Wednesday released its manifesto for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. These promises were part of the ten guarantees announced on Tuesday by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during the Mahayuti's rally
The NCP (Ajit Pawar) on Wednesday unveiled its manifesto, promising to raise the amount of Ladki Bahin scheme’s monthly financial assistance to Rs2,100 from the present Rs 1,500.
For farmers, the party promised to raise the Shetkari Sanman Nidhi scheme amount from Rs12,000 to Rs15,000 per year.
The NCP also unveiled constituency-specific manifestos for all the 52 assembly seats it is contesting.
The manifesto was unveiled by party president Ajit Pawar in Baramati, by state unit president Sunil Tatkare in Mumbai, and working president Praful Patel in Gondia. NCP candidates and local leaders also released the manifestos in their respective constituencies.
Interestingly, the manifesto contained 10 pledges similar to the ones announced by Shiv Sena leader and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Kolhapur on Tuesday.

The invitation for the unveiling of the NCP’s manifesto was circulated in the media on Tuesday afternoon.
Asked about it, Tatkare said: “I don’t think Eknath Shinde leaked our paper. Because his party is part of our Mahayuti, there may be similarities in their 10 promises and our manifesto.”
