The sixth edition of the unique 'Train Yoga' initiative was organised by Heal-Station and the Western Railway (WR) to celebrate International Women's Day in a unique way. The event featured over 20 yoga teachers from across the city – all wearing saris to showcase the traditional attire's beauty and versatility – leading yoga sessions inside the women's compartments moving trains.

The theme of the event was 'Yoga: Anywhere, anytime and in any attire'.

The event featured a variety of yoga styles and techniques, including those that can be practised easily inside a train. The participants had the opportunity to learn from some of the best yoga teachers in Mumbai, with many expressing their gratitude.

“Yoga has the power to transform lives and we are thrilled to have been able to bring this practice to so many women in Mumbai,” Heal-Station founder, Ruchita Shah said, adding that they hope to continue organising events like these to spread the benefits of yoga to a wider audience.
