Police Issues Clarification Statement After Arrest
Noida Police shared a detailed statement shedding light on the arrest of the Biryani shop owner. Making it clear that the arrest has nothing to do with the rat incident, Police said, "On 24/07/2023, during patrolling, the police discovered a situation at the Apni Biryani Shop in Gali No.5, Mamura, Noida. A person named Jainladhin, son of Matlub Ahmad, was involved in a dispute with customers over money. The police tried to persuade Jainladhin to resolve the matter peacefully, but he became even more agitated."
"As a result, the police took action under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) and arrested Jainladhin. It seems that the situation got out of hand, leading to his arrest," Police added.
"However, a separate and unrelated incident seems to be spreading on social media, calling the arrest a 'rat' and associating it with a viral video. It's important to note that this video has no connection with the arrest itself," Police further said.
