Jio Network Down In Mumbai; Indignant Consumers Take To X To Raise Their Concerns

Many Reliance Jio users are having trouble connecting. Call drops are happening frequently, and users are unable to access mobile internet.

Reliance Jio customers in India reported a network outage on social media, and the tracking website Down Detector revealed a spike in issue reports at midday on September 17.

By 12:36 PM on September 17, 2024, 10,552 Jio users had reported a network error, according to Down Detector. Compared to the 695 reports at 11.30 am there was a surge.

Many indignant consumers took to X to express their ordeal with the malfunctioning network.

Reason behind network loss

A social media user, username @ashoknoorpur, claims that there is a fire at the IDC data center, which is the reason why the networks are down. Nevertheless, the telecom company has not released an official statement regarding the fire incident or the outage.

Another x user, Jai Pandey username @JaiPandey2009, said, 'Jio network down AGAIN! Can't make important calls, this is beyond frustrating. We rely on your service for crucial tasks. If this continues, I’ll have no choice but to take serious action. He @reliancejio FIX THIS NOW! '

Social media user Ankit Kumar Singh, username @ singhankit_333, said, 'I have gotten at least 15 unknown calls from this morning, saying they got a missed call from my number. W*F jio.

Already Jio has the worst network connectivity, and now this. It looks like porting is the only option.'

Jio app and website down

It has also been reported that the Jio app and website are not working, which makes it more difficult for users to report or address the problem. Reliance Jio's updates on the restoration of services and the reason behind the outage are eagerly awaited by users.

Jio's customer support accounts have not yet offered a thorough explanation or an estimated time of arrival for a resolution.
