MP: On camera, constable mercilessly thrashes old man for misbehaviour, suspended
A probe has been initiated by the GRP of Jabalpur into the matter and a team is interrogating the constable.

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A police constable of Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district was suspended on Friday for kicking and dragging an elderly man who allegedly was misbehaving with him in an inebriated state.
The video, reportedly recorded by a passenger, surfaced on social media showing the constable mercilessly thrashing the elderly man.
The accused constable has been identified as Anant Sharma, a resident of Rewa.
According to the information received from the interrogation of the accused constable, the elderly man was misbehaving with him and his fellow passengers at the station was in an inebriated state.
"We have launched a probe into the matter and a team of GRP is interrogating the constable," said senior police officials.
