Bhopal: Thieves Decamp With Booty Worth ₹1.5L

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A band of thieves struck at a house in Govindpura on Tuesday night and made away with booty worth Rs 1.5 lakh.
Investigating officer (IO) Arvind Kaurav said that the complainant, Jyoti Chourasia (40), a resident of Pakshi Vihar in Govindpura, along with her family members had gone to celebrate Dussehra on Tuesday evening.
During this, several unidentified thieves broke into her house and made off with Rs 25,000 in cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.25 lakh. When the family returned home, they found the entire house ransacked and valuables as well as cash money missing.
They informed the police, who have registered a case and are sifting through CCTV footage to apprehend the culprits.
