What: A group exhibition of paintings, sculptures & graphics by Abdul Salam, Akhil Chandra Das, Arup Kumar Das, Kabari Banerjee, Premangshu Mitra, Shamaprasad Bhattacharjee, Pradip Ghosh, Tapan Bhattarcharjee, Tanmay Banerjee. Akhil Ch. Das feature his bronze sculptures which are freestanding and allegorical.

Arup K.Das’s graphic prints are based upon reflections of nature. Abdul Salam also depicts nature by his graphic prints, few of which are glass etchings. Kabari Banerjee is known for her satirical expositions in charcoal. Tanmoy Banerjee’s sculptures in this show reflects his strong drawing sense and he is able to build the sensitive textures of the materials itself. Premangshu Mitra in his acrylic on canvases portrays his sense of socio-cultural and socio-economic understandings. Tapan Bhattacharya shows his skills and understanding nature and society in his acrylic on canvases. Shyamaprasad Bhattacharya makes sculptures in wood and metal and discourses about the world with a mixture of crude -cliche’, insight and satirical self help dogma. Pradip Ghosh is the only artist who did water colour in British School, studying nature and his works are soft and sombre. This group of artists try to show their works in a very honest way. Their loyalty is to the individual but not the individual who exist in isolation, rather one who acts within a community, even if this community is yet to be invented.
