102 Not Out First Look: Rishi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan reunite after 26 years

Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are reuniting onscreen after nearly three decades and the first look of their new film has surfaced online. Titled 102 Not Out, the film has been directed by Umesh Shukla and is based on a Gujarati play by the same name. Amitabh Bachchan is 102 Not Out and Rishi Kapoor seems to be miffed with him for something. Maybe that he is playing a balding 75-year-old man whose 102-year Not Out father seems to be having too much fun.

Based on the Gujarati play of the same name by writer Saumya Joshi, 102 Not Out revolves around Amitabh Bachchan’s character who is trying to break the record of being the oldest man alive in the world, a record held in the film by a Chinese man.

Rishi Kapoor tweeted on Thursday, “Wonderful to work again with the Legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Thank you Amitji, it never felt the 26 years old hiatus. We connected instantly!” Later, trade analyst Taran Adarsh enlightened us with more details about Big B and Rishi Kapoor’s 102 Not Out.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, also shared the first look of this father-son jodi of Amitabh and Rishi Kapoor. The two men actually look cute in their avatars.

Amar, Akbar, Anthony, Kabhie Kabhie, Naseeb and Coolie are just a few of the films that Amitabh and Rishi have done together. Now, the duo is ready to weave the same magic once again on the silver screen after 26 years. The two worked together in ‘Ajooba’, which was released in 1991.
