Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The body of an unidentified man was found floating in the upper lake, the Shyamla Hills police have seized the body and began a probe on the incident, police said on Saturday.
Police station in-charge Umesh Yadav told media that the police have seized the body of a middle aged man floating in the upper lake on Saturday evening.
“The man seemed to belong to a good family, he was wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt, who also wore socks, but no shoes. The police did not find any mobile phone or vehicle keys from his pocket. The victim could have drowned in the lake on Friday night”, he added.
Police added that the body has been sent to Hamidia Hospital for post-mortem examination. The cause of death and time will be shared by the doctors. After that, the police will register a case.
The cops also added that the photograph of the victim has been shared on social media groups and as soon as his family contacts them, the whole scenario will be cleared.
